Tailwheel Training

We provide comprehensive and affordable tailwheel training (otherwise known as “conventional gear” training) for both experienced and new pilots in the Kansas City area.

The training will be tailored to your needs, whether you just need a quick proficiency sortie or a full program to obtain a tailwheel endorsement in accordance with 14 CFR §61.31(i).

Tailwheel training is comprehensive: ground academics and theory, three-point & wheel landings, pavement and grass landings, crosswind landings, touch-and-go, go-around, focused instruction on coordination and control, and more.

All training is accomplished in a Bellanca Citabria 7ECA.

Solo tailwheel flights: Unfortunately, solo flights are not permitted.
